These pictures (and video) were taken a few months back—but I wanted to share. My husband and I had the opportunity to participate in the release of baby sea turtles back into the Pacific Ocean (Monterrico, Guatemala). It was certainly a very magical day for us and we felt very humbled my the efforts of the community and few Tortugarios (Sea Turtle Hatchery) in the area that are trying to protect the four endangered species that breed in the long stretch beach every year.
